Go on – admit it – we’ve all tried dating sites at some point in our lives. I’ve tried most of them throughout my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Ones for bigger women, ones for older women, those that promise to match you on personality not looks, ones where your friends recommend you (doesn’t help when they mention your farts though) and even ones advertising men in uniform! And guess what? I’m still bloody single.

If like me you enjoy reading, it doesn’t really matter what it is. It’s more about the release it provides from the daily grind, allowing the ability to lose yourself in the pages as you get swept along by a spellbinding story line. For those few hours you can wind down and turn your mind from work and all of the other daily issues and pressures which refuse to shift from your brain – what a relief!
